DAV & RecruitMilitary will host the Fort Bragg Veterans Job Fair on Wednesday, May 24 at Iron Mike Conference Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern.

RecruitMilitary’s Event Director Allen Von Plinsky who is also a U.S. Army Veteran shared that there are 91 employers signed up for the job fair. These employers represent a variety of industries such as government contracting, government benefits services, engineering, construction, manufacturing, distribution and more.

Though RecruitMilitary hosts many job fairs across the country, not many of them are held on actual military installations.

“This is unique because it’s actually on the installation itself, and it makes it super easy for all the veterans that are looking to transition off of active duty or who live in the greater Raleigh, Fayetteville area to get on base and actually see this event and participate… Having a shorter distance to travel to get to the venue is so much easier for [active duty military], it gives you much more time in front of the employers and figuring out what’s out there for you,” shared Von Plinsky.

“...a lot of employers love coming to the installation because it’s one of the few job fairs we do actually on the military installation so they get to come in and see kind of how the Veteran lives and works and operates on a day to day basis,” added Von Plinsky.

RecruitMilitary’s mission is to empower all members of the military community with meaningful employment opportunities through career resources including an online job board, networking opportunities, and hiring events.
